I started my own business recently and of course made sure to leave some money to spare to furnish my office. It wasn't too hard to decide between chairs being a bigger guy and seeing how other brands don't seem to accommodate us that well especially for the price. The titan fits me really well and sits very comfortably as I was at the upper limit of the size for the Omega. My friend bought the Omega the same time I bought the Titan and I much prefer the flat seating of the Titan over the Omega's cradle you in feeling. I have bought 3 budget "gaming chairs" from amazon previously (in the $200 price range) and the Titan's quality is far superior. Softer leather, well built, no noises, solid (and heavy) and I would hope it would last much longer than the off-brand chairs as I had one break within a year. I read that they have a break in period but it's been super comfortable since day 1.
I love my new Omega. It looks and feels amazing and feels like a quality chair should. Construction was easy enough with two of us but i wouldn’t reccomend trying it alone. It really completes my set up and looks so cool!
4 stars just because nothing in this world is perfect. Chair is as good as it is advertised. It's expensive but it's all worth it.
This is my 3rd secretlab chair and truthfully, before you guys came along, I’ve never been able to find a chair that suits me so well. I love it that I can count on secretlab as the go-to brand. Loving it!
No longer sit like a peasant, but like a king. Invest your money in this chair and your (in my
Case) back will thank you later. I bought this chair because I work 9 hours a day sitting. After that I like to play some games. When you sit a lot in the chair it’s better to invest some more and sit like a king!
I had contacted support within the first day because of some minor issue I had. They responded quickly and handled the issue well.
Good chair, good support. Worth the money
My wife has been spoiling me building my home office and personal area in our living room. The recent addition was this ergonomic beast that's taking my space to the next level. I loved the comfort and style of this chair. Never regret choosing this from all the options we reviewed. Super awesome!
I work from home a lot and spend a lot of time in my office chair. Typically in the past I have bought semi expensive chairs ($100-$200) from Office Max/Staples/Costco but they only lasted a year or so and the cushion's lasted less than that. I can tell this chair is going to last and the difference in quality is amazing. The cushion's feel more like the cushion's in my truck than an office chair and the all metal base and frame is very solid. Being able to adjust the lumbar and backrest setting to exactly what I want is so much better than the 2 spot adjustments of typical office chairs. Set up was easy (by myself) because I watched the YouTube video beforehand and the full size color instructions where very easy to follow. I've already recommended this chair to a lot of my colleagues and friends.
This chair fits me perfectly. I'm 6'3" and 180lbs for a quick reference as far as the Titan goes, but I haven't found a chair that felt as nice as this; the aesthetic is visually pleasing, the arm adjustments, the memory foam head cushion, the adjustable lumbar support that's built into the back, the heaviness, the swift movement of the wheels, the degree of tilt and the ability to lay completely flat. It's totally sturdy and completely comfortable for long hours of gaming. I highly recommend. You won't regret your decision.
Bought the TITAN, best office chair for those with a larger frame. Although I am on the smallish side it is still really nice
I work at home and spend all day in front of a screen editing and playing the vidya games. Previous chairs I've purchased from Office Depot and Target would always break down or just not be comfortable after an hour or so sitting in it. I would need to take a break every hour to lay down and stretch my back. It's been about a month since I've gotten my Titan, and I couldn't be more pleased with it.
I can continue working without having to take a break every hour to stretch. The multi tilt and recliner are life savers, and the adjustable armrest is pretty darn handy. (I honestly didn't think I would enjoy them as much as I do)
Yes it is pricey, but this has been the best investment for my back. The cushioning was kind of hard, but after a week of solid use it got softer and still retained the support for my back.
If you are on the fence about ordering, just do it. In my opinion this is hands down the best chair I've sat in and I recommend it to friends and family, even if they don't ask about it. :p
This chair is truly the best chair I've sat on. As a big guy (6'3, 295) this chair supports me no problem, except a little give when you try to rock it is a little annoying. After a day of dead lifts, I need that lumbar support to give me better posture. And this is exactly that, amazing chair to support proper posture.
The Secretlab TITAN has proven to be a great substitute for the too-narrow and uncomfortable stock racing seat that ships with the Obutto R3volution gaming cockpit. The Obutto ships with a decent, but not great racing seat that, unfortunately for me, had one significant flaw - the seat base is pretty narrow, and the side bolsters rise pretty high, making it uncomfortable to use by someone of larger stature. (I'm 6' 230 lbs, with somewhat wide hips and thick thights.) After doing a lot of research on gaming chairs, I settled on the TITAN as the one that would best meet my needs. The trick was to mate it to the Obutto frame. With a bit of engineering and a piece of 3/4" plywood, I was able to attach the TITAN to the frame, and was able to use the slide mechanism to allow the seat to move forward and back. I had to forego using the TITAN's armrests, as they'd make it too hard to get in and out of the seat. The TITAN has worked wonderfully in this setup - I can game for hours at at time in comfort. My use case aside, the TITAN and Secretlab impressed me with the quality of their product from packaging on down to the most important part, the construction of the seat. It's been money well spent, and I highly recommend the TITAN!
I am very happy with my purchase. The best chair I ever had in my life.
I think we have too much commons pros such as, comfort, the pillow, and best armrest, in the reviews so I will list the cons I experienced.
Even though it cons, but I can easily countered.
1) The price still feels expensive tho.
The first time I sat this chair was at IT fair 1st day. Once you sat on it, it feels ok la. Just pay lor.
Feels > Money. knn my ass feels shoik.
2) Its very heavy for me.
I am a skinny small structure person, 1.61m 43kg. I managed to set it up alone as I live alone. But having another person will definitely helps you regardless if you're muscular or not.
3) Wierd smell from everywhere from packaging
It took 1-2 weeks for the weird smell to disappear. If you have a place to dry the chair, its better to dry it first and get it of the smell before even fixing it. It might be the storage smell. It does not bother me but it is very weird at the same time.
I think that is all the cons and I can come out with.
Best chair if you have the money to purchase.
Positives: I love the color of the ash. A bit stiff at first but you get used to it (1st gaming chair). Install was easy and the instructions were clear (30 min). Wheels and metal base seem like good quality.
Negatives: Cost seems kind of steep, especially because you cannot go "try it out" somewhere local so you do not know how it will be when you receive it. The arm rests are noisy and seem like a poor design. The tilt mechanism can be noisy as well but not as bad.
Well, first of all, this is my first gaming chair, I have been searching all those gaming chairs in the market, and end up here with The Titan. It helps keep my back, not in pain anymore. Overall this chair is 10/10
Spent much of my career in an old fashioned back test chair with no head support. After about 6,000 hours, I finally upgraded and decided to go all the way with a Titan. Instructions were relatively easy to anybody who has used an Allen wrench (included). The chair itself is impressive to look at and goes extremely well with my office setup. The lumbar support and beveled seat support me and help me to stay in position when sitting for a long time, I’ve actualt noticed a posture improvement. So far my only complaint is that the headrest (with fantastic pillow) I feel like continues backwards too far, so when you’re trying to look at a screen level to you, you end up having to lift your head instead of resting it against the rest. At the end of the day, I’m extremely satisfied with my chair, and would definitely buy it again.
I got the Ash Grey Omega chair and mannnn it’s so beautiful. It definitely feels better than my previous chair. I’ve been sitting in it for hours trading, drawing, and playing games. Best of all whenever I’m just watching a show I can lean back and enjoy it! If you’re wondering if these chairs were worth it, then my answer is YESSS!!
